It's not quite the same without him, but I still like the post-Waters stuff a lot.

        1. Whoever had the final say in how the factory wiring harness was routed in an e30 was a fucking moron.

        2. How in the hell is the enginebay covered in so much damn grease and grime!?

                  Chit/Chat'ers:

I'm going to PDX for a motorcycle show/gallery thing tomorrow, staying until Sunday. Anyone need parts shuttled to and/or fro?

I would also be willing to bring down a big 'ol bag of Dicks or a cock'n'balls from pdx on the way back.

I'm not saying it was difficult at all. I'm saying the routing of the wiring harness is downright sadistic. Pulling the intake off in one piece was a horrendously tedious job. The injector harness splits off into two pieces, one wraps around the bottom of the intake, back up between the main runner groups, forward to the thermo housing and then there is one lone wire that drops down the front of the timing cover and back around the other side of the motor? Wtf? Hell, you'd think even the bean counters would've said, "Hey guys, uh, why is this harness so long? Can we save hundreds of thousands of dollars on wire by routing this in a more sane fashion?"

It was close to 1am so I was a little cranky but my point remains.
