My antenna started going up when I turn my car on and down when I turn my car off by itself. It's never worked in the past year and a half, and I didn't touch a single thing. Anyone know why it may have started working again?

Started swapping springs tonight.....got the front strut tube off and it started pouring. To top it off I can't leave my car on jacks in the parking lot unless in working on it. So I have one spring done.
