              Seth, I never asked. But what transmission was in that car? It it was a 5speed, did it have a mechanical speedo?

                E30s don't have mechanical speedometers.

                    Coming down to Portland to pickup some parts an coming back north to Seattle if anyone needs something brought back up for a little gas compensation, has to fit in a e30

                      Grey market cars have weird stuff. And as it has the same motor as a E21 323i, I thought it might have the same transmission. ;)

                          e-mailed them for a quote for .5mm overbore on my s50b30us

                          also seeing how much it would be for sleeves put in for a stock bore.

                          they're website is really nice and they seem really professional.
                          i've done alot of searching around and most places dont even have websites or a way to contact other than by phone.

                            Most good machine shops fall into that category. It's not a sign of being a bad shop at all.

                            Most of the machinists that I've met are not very internet savvy, are in their 40's or greater, and prefer to talk to people in person than any other way.

                              It's a shame that more folks don't Google around for ways to make sites who aren't tech savvy in the least.

                              Also why my company exists. Folks can come to weebly.com and drag/drop an image and their phone number and have a site that works in all browsers/mobile devices automagically. Could not be easier and is absurdly cheap.

                                just makes it difficult as busy as i am, when most shops dont answer their phones either.

                                hard to find the time to drive and just stop by a shop to see if theyre worthwhile
