Well.. Just using my free public school ed-ja-ma-ca-shun: 41/14 is 2.92, so I'm guessing even if it was a BMW diff, it's probably nothing worth saving.

What public school did you go to? I never had the option to take a class on Bmw diff tags

If you ever have a differential tag that has a bunch of random characters, it means it was rebuilt at some point in its life.

          Gresham.

It was Stripping Cars 101 - pure elective. It may have been replaced by the teen mom dropout prevention.

I was more thinking the math of the those first two numbers.

Woah man. That's pretty advanced stuff. I think I'll measure it just to be safe. If it's locking I might try and sell it to someone doing a crazy build (let me know if you're interested) or if it's open I'll just swap the internals I think for some e36 ones...

Thanks for all the insight guys.

Ps. Dicks Tuesday meet tonight anyone?

What does a m20b25 head go for now days? I have one that needs a valve job (t belt snapped and crunched some valves). It has 10 rockers (marked 04 febi), two rocker shafts, and a cam w/sprocket.

Does that kit look like it's missing anything?

                            If it's a 2.93 lsd I'll buy it.

Thanks Austin, for letting me hack the ass off your parts car. That rear valance will end up looking real good when it goes on.
