Ha, I wish I was down to three cars...realistically don't see myself being under five anytime soon...unless I happen to die...then all my problems are solved :)

Honest opinions... Z3 or Z4? Excluding M models and coupes.

I like the coupes for both... the earlier Z4 reminds me of a modern british roadster. Not sure why, but they do. The N52 is a pretty good motor too... I also like the M54 which can be found in the Z3, but I think you're a bit too tall for a Z3

It's funny you bring this up A A Ron. I've been seeing these two Z3 NON M coupes in Bellevue for the past week, and they just completely break my neck everytime.

If i were looking into one (which is always), I prefer the Z3 Coupe (M or non). I like the body lines more than the z4 coupe. Engine wise, I definitely enjoy the N52 ALOT ALOT ALOT. N52 Z3 coupe would be an awesome daily driver.....but so would a bullet proofed S54 z3 coupe haha

I am thinking about a roadster specifically. I like the lines of the z3 better but I am reading that that z4 really benefits from the updated rear suspension and handles/rides much better.

Just looking for opinions at this point, best years to look for, etc.

I think the Z4 went from a "driver" to a "cruiser" when they updated it around 09 or something. It got heavier, but had a more powerful motor. Sadly it also got numb-er and more disconnected. If my wife didnt hate clownshoes (she rarely has an opinion on the looks of a car, so I have to take it serious) I would seriously be looking at a M54 Z3 coupe. I almost impulse bought a 6speed Z4 coupe that had an N52. I balked and the next time I looked it was gone

Damn should have bit the bullet on the N52 powered Z4 coupe. That car would have been a blast. Jennifer's 328i touring with the N52 is such a glorious rig. Powerband is buttery smooth. Absolutely love that car

Gahhh, a Z3 Coupe will definitely be my next car. As soon as I sell the Euro lachs car and save a few more bucks...i've always been a fan
