Ok... Ill continue this DIY from hell. Are there any good guides for drilling out broken bolts? I've never done it, but if it is half as fun as installing the CABs it should be a great time.

To be honest I tried once in high school (so many years ago) and was unsuccessful. I'd definitely look at getting a good kit, that should help. Otherwise just google it.

It's called a screw extractor. It has reverse threads

There are several types of extractors. I like this style, especially with a lager bolt, like you are dealing with

          http://www.amazon.com/Irwin-Industri...sxp_grid_i_0_1

If you have never done it. Go slooooooow. Use a punch to make a center mark on the broken bolt. Work your way up in bit size when drilling your hole and USE LUBE. If you want those bits to cut and last more than one extraction, use cutting oil. And remember they are reverse bits. Drill spins backwards

After you have a hole, tap that weird looking spiral bit in and use a wrench to turn. Boom you're done.

But if it broke at 50Nm, it will probably come out when you are drilling the hole
