Stolen e30 alert!!!!


Someone swiped my project e30, please keep your eyes out for it. Not that it was the best looking car, but it had a solid base to work with and now is gone :(

That is pretty sick (as you young pups might say). Keep us posted on that build. I'd love to see that Roadster doing a full acceleration run when it is done.

Filed a police report and called around the yards with the VIN, no dice. Hoping one of the cameras in the area caught something, supposedly a detective is going to gather up all the tapes, but you know how the local law can treat something like this. They also snagged the Honda Civic that was parked next to it, and maybe it's coincidence that another Honda (Accord) was stolen the same way near my shop in Pompano (the project car was in Deerfield), but I have a feeling someone was going around snatching cars last night. You could see where they dragged the cars into the middle of the parking lot to get them on the tow truck - both the e30 and Civic were autos and couldn't be taken out of park, so the tires left rubber as they were pulled.

Sorry i didnt give you a call earlier John had a a minor family crisis come up . The car is still here if you're still interested I'll give you a call tomorrow. Sorry to hear about somebody snatching up the project too, probably the same people who stole the interior out of my coupe not to long ago..

Well the detectives stopped by my old shop, where the 89 e30 was parked. The guys that did it hit that area again on Wed night and the same night the e30 went missing, two other cars were stolen in Pompano! This is 6 cars in 2 nights - hope they get some leads as I am sure the cars are being crushed or stripped and the e30 will never be seen again :(

Well Pompano beach, actually (shop location).

You can come pick up the interior and M-Tech stuff anytime, just need the car to be a roller for a little longer so it can be moved in/out of the shop. Carlos has been on vacation, the slacker lol.
