Not BAT, but Sotheby’s. Check out this 1990 Canadian 325i Hartge convertible that just sold for $25,300.
Sorry about the enormous photo – this was the only size I could find.
From Sotheby’s:
-Reported to be a fully documented one-owner example
-Believed to be one of only 341 325i convertibles were sold in Canada for 1990
-Equipped with an H26 Hartge Package which was installed by the BMW dealer, the package consists of a performance exhaust, Hartge control unit chip, cam, valve covers, headers, front and rear spoilers all this combined producing 215 hp
Some dealer in the UK bought it at the auction for way too much and is trying to sell it now for a profit. It’s been a joke in the Hartge/Alpina circles because it’s an abomination, not a real Hartge. Just an E30 with a bunch of Hartge/Alpina bits tacked on.
And Fugly as hell!

All this and then some. LOL That's hilarious. People don't know the difference these days. As if the Alpina wheels on a "Hartge" car didn't give it away. One of many telltale signs this isn't a true Hartge car. It's just as much an Alpina car than it is Hartge. It's got an M badge as well so might as well call it an M Hartpina. On top of all that, it's a USA spec car.

While walking the dog today I spotted this car in my neighborhood! Turns out R3V’s Oseanosea is a friend who lives right around the corner. I was watching this car on CL, in R3V and on BAT. So funny to have it wind up here.

Someone local to me is trying to pass this car as their own for sale. Didn't even use the same interior images, and shows it as black when the BAT ad is tan interior.
