Coilovers are key, and if you drove properly set-up swap cars in comparison, there is no comparison. If you have H&R Sport springs or some soft suspension, than yes the added weight of the swap, or even a turbo set-up on an m20 can be felt (m20 turbo is a different convo compared to a 210whp s14 that costs almost as much, lol). Also, making 210whp in an s14 still gives you a lack of torque and costs as much as an s52, lol.
GLWS OP. Anyone that hasn't driven a PROPER swap car before shouldn't comment about the car being ruined (not saying that's you Barry). These swaps are popular for many reasons, and it makes the E30 m3 a better all around car from a performance and reliability perspective.
