I'm about to put H&R Sports on my new 318is, so it will lower about an inch. Do you think that is a significant enough drop to notice a large improvement?
Thanks, Ely.
Well it was a last minute decision to do the group buy. After you purchased yours, I had 2 more people buy pairs. I get a discount for ordering the parts in larger quantities, so figured I'd see if there was any other interest.
Yes I'll ship overseas.
Nando the m3 ones adjust from 9.58" to 11.13" My supplier has longer center turnbuckles but they are currently out of stock of the longer ones I use for slammed cars.
sweet, mine are about 10" fully extended - looks like these will work. :)
It all depends if you'll end up with any preload with stock links or not. Almost every e30 i've messed with has had some preload on the sway bar so getting rid of that is deffinetly useful as the car will then handle better in both directions, versus just one.
the rears for a stock e30 are the same as the front links, they are a tad bit shorter then stock but that helps with a lowered car. Also they only work with aftermarket sway bars that have a hole where the links bolts threw, not slip on like the stock sway bars.
The spherical bearings I use are from a UK company(MCP) but they have a distribution center here in the U.S. I've had very good luck with there rod ends, and have sold probably over 60 pairs of links to others
I've only put about 30 or 40 miles on them so far but they feel great! Turns out the rears Dave gave me are yours as well, they're awesome when mated to my ST bars with IE rear reinforcements.
I'm interested in this. I have stock sways on my 88 325 with IE3s and Konis - so I can imagine I have some major preloading going on.
I WAS going to buy new OEM sway bar links, but will this replace them? If I buy these, all I'd need to do is replace the rubber mounts that wrap around the bar that mount them to the body, correct?
Are there pics of these installed? I'm trying to figure out how that mount up?
Great, so the non-m3 ones mount to the front control arm? I'd like to get in on this! Set for front and rear with stock sways. If I get the moola to you before the 8th, I'll be good?
Thanks!
