Great idea. I was actually planning on doing this myself for my next swap. Have a couple sets of the euro oilpan/pumps, and a spare subframe I was planning on chopping up.
If the price is right, I'd just buy a setup from you, rather than going through the hassle myself.

I'm very interested in seeing your final pics and price.

it also has the sway bar mounts reinforced.
Will you be able to fit a swaybar in the stock location? All of the e30s I've seen running the euro oilpan have had to switch to a swaybar mounted in front of the subframe, rather than behind it.

hey guys, I made the parts for sam and have some pictures I just took quick before they went to him. He is getting the subframe powder coated right now.

Obviously this is the first set of these parts, I figured out some good ways to make them better the next time around, all though his parts should work well too.

The oil pan is fully welded inside and out too btw.

Like sam said, I could make these fully fabricated, but that would send the price up and really have no benefit.

I can do the subframe and pan for $1000 if you send me your stuff, otherwise I will charge a core if I have to source the parts. thanks for looking, I hope to offer some more parts to the community in the future, this is the first stuff I have done for a bmw.

Thanks for posting those Tyler. Once I have the sub frame back I will post pictures of it mounted to the motor with the pan on it for everyone to see the complete package.

One thing to note is I did not ask for the oil level sensor but I am sure it can be added at no charge. My pan also, right now, does not have the over flow nipple from the head and that will be tapped into the pan shortly.

With the right jig you could make that fit the E36 control arms for BBK/5 lug too.

I spoke with Tyler and I think that we can do better on the price if we can get a few people to commit to this. I think the price would go to about $600 plus your parts if we can get around 5 people to commit. I will wait for him to confirm.

Was the front pan only modified for the extra capacity? Would a stock S54 pan work with that subframe?

no, I make a relief in the sump to clear the subframe.

Only the rear of the pan was changed, the front was left alone. A stock S54/euro pan will not fit with this sub frame without modification. The only other modification is the sway bar needs to be relocated to the front of the sub frame and reinforced mounts will be done for this. It would look similar to this but beefier:

Once I get some people seriously interested I will have a lot of the parts water jet cut so the turn around will be fast
