Mine would crank but not start, it would start with starting fluid but even priming the fuel pump by jumping it didn't get fuel into the motor. After changing the whole harness out I figured out that I had a bad fuel pump relay.

All the way from the oil pan connector up to the main harness on the firewall, it melted almost the entire length of the wire.

haha realized i didnt even put my fix into this thread,

my issue was that when i cut the x20 off of the harness, i cut be hind where 2 green ignition wires come together into one wire then that wire goes to the x20. so when i did all my wiring, one green wire was used.

i sat down with the harness on the floor and went through each wire with wiring schematics. i then found my issue and connected the two greens together, and boom
          it started.

Would turn over but not fire, ended up having a ground strap on a spot that was not a ground.

Mine wouldn't start due to the starter pin not being in the correct location on the plug. Also didn't have the ICV plugged into the back of the intake manifold so it wouldn't idle lol

PROBLEM: Starter pinion (m20) was not aligning with flywheel (m20).

SOLUTION: Installed metal shim between block and bell housing.

Actually fired up on first start after the above problem was addressed.

Problem: No power to fuel pump

Solution: Found almost all of my fuses regarding ignition were wrong. Also the red wire by the DIAG plug on the m50 harness was plugged onto the power distribuution block, but on the wrong part and not getting any power. Moved the red wire to where the thick starter wire goes on the power block and she fired right up!

bloody silver label ecu. Swapped for red and I was golden.

condition prior to fix was crank, no fuel, no spark. ICV would hum.
