So my silver coupe was wrecked, but I got a fat check AND I didn't have to buy the car back. I quickly decided I'd rather move everything to a new shell. So I picked up a white vert for $500, with less than 200k on it. Only downside was that it last drove in 2007 and had a broken timing belt.

This one is a 1989, so late model. Coolant tank and radiator stuff on the right side already (woot).
Been sitting for 13 years without a back window so it was NAAASTY inside.
Got it home and immediately started cleaning

Getting the seats out took a few hours due to rust.

Carpet was filthy as hell.

Found some more rust in the typical areas.

The driver's side panel was mostly cosmetic, still feels very solid so I'll probably just kill it and paint it.
The passenger side area will need some welding in a few spots, largest one about the size of a golf ball

Tomorrow I'll be dropping the front subframe.
