Ok, then the E34ix hubs must be a little wider because theese rotors are 3mm shorter than M3 E36 :)

Sorry for the slightly over sized picture btw haha :D

hmmm.....that is good information to know that jag rotors work with e87 hubs. your hats look a lot shorter than an e36 m3. only 3mm? i would want to guess they look close to 10mm shorter? the e34ix's will be fine for my purpose. my wheels are et46 offset. i am guessing you should be able to run standard e34 wheels?

I can check the exact measurements and post them later!

Just checked, according to Brembos measurements the difference is 3mm. But im not sure if there's a different between euro and US E36 M3 front rotors?

            -E34 outer CV's?
            -E36 M3 calipers?

Yes, modded rotors, modded E34 CVs, M3 calipers with E32 carriers and custom adapters. You can also use some E32 calipers and 540 E34 I think. (I might be able to make some extra adapters if anyone is intereested)

How are the rotors modded? Bolt pattern?

Just picked up a complete 525ix front end, will check if that might be helpful! Like mounting the whole subframe/crossmember/rack on the E30. That would help alot with engine mounts, clearences etc!

                          Lol... good luck!

I've been wondering if an E53 front drive assembly could be used in an E34 iX... the dimensions are similar and there are many more ratios available.

No really, it might be a good idea! The front subframe is like one unit with steering rack, engine mounts and A arms in one piece so if the outer ball joint comes in the right place every other problem is pretty much gone. (it looks pretty much like E46 xi front subframe)
One problem would be weight though, its much hevier than stock E30ix aluminum one!

                              Pics?
I've looked at the 525iX subframe on RealOEM, but I don't think I've seen real photos of one.
Of course an additional difficulty is getting the right mount points built for the E30 body.

I can take some pics when i get back home later this week! Just have to lift the engine and gearbox of the subframe :P
I dont think the mounts will be that hard to get done right, but i will look more into it!
If it does fit pretty good i have done so much work for nothing haha but atleast the current setup is lighter and slightly better balanced :P
