Megasquirt Setup Help is needed 🙏
Hey y’all!
I have a 1988 BMW 325 (Super ETA) — stock N/A M20 2.7 block with a 325i intake manifold. I installed a Megasquirt PNP Pro but can’t get it properly tuned. There are plenty of issues, and they seem to change every time I tweak the settings a bit.
A few examples:
- The ECU shows “Idle” status on TPS around 1–5%, and the car jerks when it switches between Idle and Cruise.
- Idle speed randomly fluctuates.
- When I enable the TunerStudio autotune feature, idle RPM suddenly drops below 800 and the engine stalls.
- At full throttle, it runs for a few seconds and then the AFR Safety system cuts fuel completely.
Is there anyone in the Austin, TX area who can set this up for me once and for all? I’m just exhausted and don’t think I can sort it out myself anymore.
