dead thread come back to life.

ive been thinking of doing the 327i thing. stick on an i head, i intake and the computerto my block. but is it really that easy? and what would happen if you swapped out the computer from my super eta and put in an i computer?

I head on ETA bottom end = 8.42:1
I head with I piston ETA rod and ETA crank = 7.97:1

        those are nominal numbers

do you have a SETA? If so the cam and inner valve springs are the only thing in the head needing to be swapped to make it a I head and at the same time a good refresh will help things alot

they were only sold in the 88 model year - if your car is an 87 it's just a regular eta.

The power loss is bogus, it was posted on here last month I think. Some dude in toronto did the swap but he used mega squirt, it made 130hp or something like that I think.

                    Edit: ^^ thats it.
