How is this coming along? Thinking of refreshing mine over the winter. Going to place a call to Metric Mechanic to inquire about their kits. -

In case some of you were wondering how much I'm into this build so far. Here's the breakdown.
-Spare M42 engine - $200
-M42 head head work - $300
-All new timing components/gaskets,ect. - $735
-M47 crank - $750
-M47 crank modification - $200
-S52b32 pistons(6) $200

Thanks! The only thing left are the pistons. I have the S52b32 pistons, but I'm having a hard time finding someone to machine them to the specs I want. I may just get a set of pistons from MM, JE, ect....Leave a comment:

Nice work! One of my next projects is to address oil leaks from the timing cover. I'm debating whether or not just to pull the engine over winter and spend a month or two refreshing the engine. Though maybe I should just find a spare engine like you did. :)Leave a comment:
