Engine is all together sans oil pan

Bolted to the block to prevent (minimize) warping..had a little bit of warpage but I put a nice bead of RTV where it was lifting and torqued accordingly

(TIG credits go to my buddy, Brock)
I worked on getting my z3 rack fitted while he welded my pan. I've had this e30 for 6 years and have always wanted to swap the school bus rack out but never did. I decided it was time..

Thinking about going twin turbo. Complete setup including manual throttle linkage, adaptor plates, helicoils everything, ITBs, I let runners. Etc.Comment

pretty straight forward, just drilled out the 5 spot welds, bent it forwards and sawed the bead on the underside. Do one side at a time so the position doesn't change.sigpic'89 325i

For 5 speed I used a m60b44 (240mm) flywheel (e39 540) and then a b28 clutch kit (e36 328, e39 528 ect)
Note that the e34 540i flywheels are 265mm (until 96 I believe) but you want the later 240

Engine bay is all ready for the engine to go in!

Made my own adapter brackets for the recaros to go on stock e30 sliders

And of course..

After having a door that flies open for several years I finally fixed it and a few other interior bits
Interior is done for the most part
