i dont mind chopping the tubes. But this setup sounds like there might be some problems. Once you get yours 100% then i might go for it

      Hah, fair enough.

Buy the Konis. I wish I did now. In fact I still might.
That way you don't have to deal with the gap and collar nut ordeal.

So yea, once again, this threads title is on point.

I PM'd him about the Koni sizes. As far as I know, they're a 36mm diameter just like stock e30 shocks. (G60's are 30mm.)

I'm highly considering selling the G60's and picking up the Konis, especially since I'm pretty sure they come with the correct collar nuts. I just need to know how tall the tubes are.

Gotcha, i thought maybe you meant the g60s came in a 36. If there is a decent collar solution i may buy those g60s from you. But only if i have everything figured out first :nice:

I'd love to get those collar nuts from Bilstein if they exist.

Just got off the phone with Bilstein. I sent him the picture above and he's going to pull the E30/G60 specs and try to find the part, then give me a call tomorrow.

                    I'll keep you posted.

not many places sell just the inserts. got mine from neuspeed.
they're cheaper then the konis by a decent amount IIRC

No, I agree. That's why I bought them in the first place, because they were good shocks and cheaper.

My car's also more show / fun then built for performance.
