    OFFICIAL: Wide Tire Thread

After some extensive searching, I can't seem to find much at all about fitting a fat tire on an E30.

Someone made one a long time ago, and it was evident that people mistook a 10" wheel with a 195 tire as wide...

    Minimum tire width: 235

Please include offset, tire specs, and fender work.

    First post (not mine).

Bump because I want to see what people have done to fit 275+ tires on e30s.

Mark, looks good! I'd say some 265s would suit her nicely ;)

And do tell about the 275s dmoney!

            Thanks!

            265s rub. It's a tight fit.

The sad part is I bought the last pair of 245/35 17s in the US last year, and noone makes a street tire in the size any more.:(

I have no idea what I'm going to do next time...

              I'm currently running 245/35r17 on my 17x9 et23 team dynamics 1.2
I'm upgrading to 275/40 et streets for traction
I am going to use ka motors flares though.

If we could get wheels specs and offsets in there too that would probably help out others.

                  Hell even suspension setup too.

What is the best offset for running a 245+ on a 9" wheel? Options only seem to be -15 and -20, and the occasional (obviously less conducive) 0 offset.

Eyyo Tacoman, what's the offset, wheel width, and sidewall height of your rear setup.

I run 225s now but these were fun. 235/50R15 on 949 6uL 15x7.5, ET35 I think. 3mm spacer up front, trimmed flares/fender roll out back.

measuring the actual tire they were more like 245-250mm wide. no love for 195s over a 10" wheel here..
