Ok. Will 17x7.5 with an offset of 40mm fit without anything done? or will I need to roll the fenders, fit spacers, etc...?

I put them on the front, look great, suspension still needs to settle some, etc. Is it even possible to fit 245/40's in the rear without any work on late model rear arches? I'm guessing not without any flaring. The 245's even have a little bit of a stretch to them since you would need like a 265 or a 255 for the tire to be square shouldered.
Unless you're stretching on 215's or running massive camber, those wheels just won't work with stock bodywork.

15mm spacers, won't need to roll the fenders with 215/40/17 tires (good choice).

from vorschlag: 57mm stud good up to 8mm spacer safely. anything more than that they suggest the 80mm stud.

now, heresay on the forums is 60mm stud kit w/ 12mm will work. but i make no claims or gaurantees.

                  They're 15x6.5", aren't they?

205/55/15 would be the correct aspect ratio. 205/50/15 would probably look better though. For tire commendations you'd have to make another thread, there's a lot of discussion needed (your needs, etc).

                      Correct-they are 15" x 6.5".
205/50/15 will be the better choice.

                        got a problem,

                        specs:
                        -(4) Borbet Type A 16x9's ET15
-5mm spacers in the front, none in the rear (for now)
-2 hubcentering rings on the front wheels ( i know i need 4, working on it)

                        Problem:
The car shakes VIOLENTLY from about 40-50mph.

As i was at work tonight i was thinking... with the spacer up front the Hub Centric ring doesnt even fit itself around the hub.

How do i fix this? Could it be as simple as a balance? im still worried about the spacer/ring situation though

                        Please help me out, TIA.

You could of just called me, oh wait, you did. Sorry, bad reception in Torrance.

Anyway- I think it's cause those spacers he gave you where not hubcentric. But they are only 5mm thick, so it really shouldn't make a diff, your hubcentric ring should still be able to reach the hub to properly center it.

You tires are bad enough that it might just be the tires. You'd be surprised with how much it makes a difference. Especially when you're talking about 215/40's on 9" wide wheels.

I'll swing by and check it out when I get home tomorrow.

Just wanted to make sure this would fit without fending rolling or rubbing:

slipstream 16x8 with falken 225/45/16's on an 88 cabrio. I've searched and keep coming up with different comments on whether fender rolling is necessary. Oh yeah, H&R sports with bilstein sports.

                            Thanks, Doug

                              Whatup Jay. Got another question.

                              17mm offset rear.
                              19mm offset front.

                              Currently 22mm all around.

Will I need longer lug nuts? And for clarification, whats the length of the stock ones?

Planning on getting 57.1mm centerbore spacers instead of those universal ones.

And Doug, its always beneficial to do a proper fender rolling with the right tool, its worth it, I know my fenders liked it!
                              Reminiscing...
