That said, there are still some wheels that require tuner lugs due to tiny hole castings. The manufacturer should specify this right off the bat.Comment

Hey all,
Reading through this thread and didn't find exactly what i was looking for so maybe you can help.
Suspension: Bilstein sports and Vogtland springs.
want fit these: Kosei K1's 15x8 +32, with track tires
I have only tried them on the front with no tire and they had a slight rub on the shock. Have not had a chance to put them in the rear.
Looking for:
-Tire: Plan to use almost strictly for track. Looking at BF Goodrich g-Force Sport but not sure what will fit, 225 or 215 /50R15. want to go 225 if possible.
-Spacer: not looking to have to roll the fenders if i can avoid it. Best size spacer?
Thanks!
The 225 G-Force will fit fine, with just a flat fender roll in the back. If you try to use the 12.5mm though, you may have to get a little aggressive with the roller.Comment

12.5mm spacers for the front (see ECS Tuning) and the same or smaller for the rear. If you're all about function you'll want to use a smaller spacer (5mm perhaps) to reduce the necessary fender rolling.

Hey guys, first post here.
I bought myself a '91 318is in Alpine White. The car is sitting on Bilstein sport shocks with H&R lowering springs (I believe 1.5"/1.5" drop). It's still running the 4x100 pattern hubs but its converted to a larger than stock 4.10lsd. I'm not 100% sure what the pumpkin is out of, I believe it may be an M series, but I'll have to double check. I'm new to BMW's, and small cars in general. Ignore the 16x7" CR7's in the second shot they did not come with the car when I bought it. The pics are shamelessly stolen from the for sale posting by the last owner
The stock 14" baskets have seen better days and the tires are nearly toast, I could strip them and powdercoat them but I think I'm just going to save myself the hassle and order some nice new 15's
I've been lurking various forums trying to get an idea what wheels and tires to go with, but I'm feeling pretty retarded, can't quite get a good grasp of what fits what and why, so I'm double checking my choices here.
I really like this combo
Wheels: Beyern "Mesh" 15x7 et27 4x100bp at 15.3lbs Link $150 each
Tires: 215/50/15 BFG g-Force Sport Link $100 each

2008 KTM 990 Superduke
2018 Golf R, 6spd manual (Pending delivery)

Varinn not bad, those Beyerns don't look bad at all...does anyone have a mock up ? or do you know if they come in 16s as well ?
Jay/Mystikal: so all this comparing and finally deciding on 16x8s might just go away for me...I really wouldn't wanna roll my fenders... I just love this look (image below) I know they may be wider wheels but we'll see this thread is huge ... lol gonna take me forever to look through it.
but maybe more towards flush with the fender, doesn't need sit too far out.Comment

You can easily run either of those Enkeis. Keep in mind most spacers add almost a full pound to the wheel weight so make sure the move is worth it. Yes, 10-15 spacers are necessary for either model (15mm needed for the 7.5 +40).
If you really want to go for the gold here, you can buy the 15x8 TRM wheels from Tirerack. It will be very close to rubbing though, unless you do a minor rear roll. As long as you use lots of heat and roll gradually, there shouldn't be any issues. I'd honestly just try it out without rolling first though, it just might make it with the undersized diameter.Comment

Thank you for the info, but I'm puzzled about your suggestion of the 8 inch wide rims. What advantage do they bring? They are heavier than the 7s, and the extra weight is all out at the rim where it does the most harm. I have precious little torque and HP as it is, I don't want to waste any accelerating the extra mass if I can help it. Does the 8 inch put more rubber on the road?Comment

Hey there,
I definitely want to get steelies for my car but I hear lot of crap about Diamond Racing. Which steelies are more "legit"?
If I choose Diamond Racing, which size wheel would fit without rubbing? Could I run 215 40 16? Or even 225?
Thanks ya.Comment

What size are these wheels and tires? I think these look amazing on the e30. I definitely don't want to stretch the tire. I want something that looks great and is functional.

iX fitment?
I'm thinking about purchasing Beryern Mesh wheels 15 X 7, but they're only available in ET +27. Will they stick out too much on a iX.Comment
