So heres a question, because even after all this reading Im still hazy on the specs and what will fit, lol.
I have someone who wants to trade me for my bottlecaps. The rims hes trading are 17x7 with 0 offset and the tires are 205/40/17.
Will they fit on my 86' 325es (high arches in the back)? Will I need spacers and or fender work.
The car has all stock suspension for now but eventually Id like to drop the car like 1" - 1.5"
Seems like a good deal for a newer set of 17's with tires.

hello sir, I'd like to know if the front suspension will allow 18x9.5... I'm curious if they would otherwise Im gonna be doing some major suspension work... also do you know if any late model BMW's come with wheels in the size of 18x9.5 and 19x12? thanks.

ok i've been looking around cant get an exact answer i'm looking at a set of xxr 531's and there 15x8's should i get et0 or et20? i wanna lower it not completely dump it so i'm scrapping on everything but pretty low, so i don't wanna have to roll fenders.

What would be the best offset to run a 235/40/17 in the back of a fairly low late model with rolled fenders (but it rubs a little on the inner fender at 205/45/17, 7.5" wide, ET-2)? Or is that tire gonna be too hard to fit?
The first car I ever rode in was an e30

would like to fill up the gap just a little, want a little bit more tire there, kinda like this

Obviously i want a look "LIKE" this, because clearly i cant have 10 inch wide tires nore do i drive an m3 with wider fenders then an ix. do your magic please sir!!! Thank you
You need higher offset wheels if you don't like what you currently have. I'm not sure what else you want me to tell you?

The offset is too low. You want wheels in the 20ish offset range.

You're looking at widebody C6 wheels in those sizes I'd bet. No, the widest wheel BMW has used so far is 11" (see any X5 with 315 rear tires).

Easy fit at the right offset and width. 8" to 8.5", +25 to +35.

                            Hey Jay,

                            16x8.5 et20 (F) and 16x9 et14 (R). i am running IE3,drop hats & koni sport.

do i need to run front spacer? 205/45/16 would be perfect size? really appreciated your opinion.. :)

With Apex Arc-8's do 235's fit in the front as is or do they require rolling? Most of the questions I found in this thread were in regards to the rears, but my rear fenders are already rolled so the front is my only concern in running square 235's. Thanks!
