I have renamed mine several times. 90 325i, salvaged title, dented brilliant rot body, cracked front and rear bumpers. just 116k on the clock with a fresh suspension and engine and a nice interior. I enjoy driving this car on the roads up to Big Bear and Idyllwild and look forward an AX and track day as soon as I finish my carpet install this September.
Olaf at first then a bunch off other names but I keep thinking a tittle suits it best. When i get around to doing a thread in the project forum its going to be called.
For the 20 or so years I've owned my Cosmos Blau M635, I've called it "Cosmo"
In college, I had a friend in college who got an MR2 Turbo when they first came out, and when he got on the gas he used to cackle and say "It SCOOTS!" in his hard eastern-NC accent and it always made me laugh. And somehow, when I first drove my S52-swapped E30 after I picked it up from Mike and booted it, it made me cackle the same way. I told my son (who flew with to CA to get the car and drive home) the MR2 story, and he said "Well, then it must be 'Scooter.' "
So it's Scooter.

Have always called my Silver one "Rusty" from the condition of the trunk pocket when I bought it, not sure if I coined the term or my wife.
It's awkward because it sounds like I named it after another famous car, so I try not to mention the name on the internet or to car guys in general.
My 4dr shitbox shell is just "the 4-door" or "Shitbox" depending on who I'm talking to.
