    E36 radiator question

    Does anyone know what this goes too?

    Using this radiator for my m50 swap

    Dont think I need it but want to know what its supposed to go to.

    It's the drain

      So does the blue drain valve open it?

        Yes, the blue valve opens the drain. Then when you break it, you can buy another valve. The valve can be purchased separately fron the radiator.

            and you can put a length of tubing onto it so that it will drain without dumping coolant all over. It's a nice feature-
            until you break the valve, or it starts leaking, or it never sealed right from the beginning...
            or the expansion tank pops.

            hasn't had good luck with E36 radiators...
            now, sometimes I just mess with people. It's more entertaining that way. george graves

              Im using it for my m50 swap in the e30... crossing fingers it works out.. its the last piece to running and driving from a torn apart car.
