I'm no expert, but I'd personally be pretty scared to bring that to a body shop and see what price they'd give me to bring it back to factory fresh. BUT HOO THAT MILEAGE. I don't think I've ever seen an E30 M3 with 250k+. Props to the owner for driving it so much!

Maybe it'd be a lowball, but I'd pay 20k so I could compensate for the bodywork and the respray.

Yep. I sold my 91 325i sedan last year for 3k, it was in good condition. Definitely regretting that lol.

After looking it seems like average E30 (without knowing condition) prices are declining slightly in the last two months, so I suspect it'll be buying time once more later this year.

I've noticed that for verts and sedans. IS coupes are still bringing high prices.

No biggie I guess... I'm just sure I could have gotten more than $5000 for my car now on BAT, or even Ebay for my turbo 318is. Hindsight is 20/20.

Concur, nothing wrong with the car that a crusher can't fix.

If the owner/person who did this were inside at the time it probably wouldn't be a large loss to society.

Hmmm.. well its "very good car just selling it no need it." Obviously the seller is an articulate, intelligent person with an attention to detail, a refined taste, and treats his belongings carefully with a consideration for the next person who owns it. He is probably neat, a very courteous driver, utterly responsible, and is completely trustworthy as a result.
