His price isnt bad actually. Made me laugh that it cost $6k to convert to manual. Down the road I thought of doing that to my E38 except with an S62 in there with it:)

Yea price is really fair with new vanos as well. S62 or m70 v12 750i would be a better conversion though.

My first 3 cars were 740il's so I'm a little partial.
