      To be honest - that's about all they're good for. They were turd cars really - slow, poor handling, low grade GM interior. If not for the movie, they wouldn't be held in such high regard.

        That description fits basically so many older (especially GM/Chrysler/Ford) cars though, and plenty of those are popular.
        They're unique and look cool, I think that's basically all it needs.
        There's that guy who LS swapped one, can't remember if that was on an RCR video or what.
