It's pretty bad. I'm also fairly certain it was in this very thread before.

    Edit:

    Yep, here it is.

And here's the archive of the ebay listing: https://web.archive.org/web/20201004...e/324291383787

It's a 325is wearing M3 clothes w/ M20 engine. Ad is tagged as Automatic, but it's a manual. Makes no mention of the body mods... Is it worth $16k? At minimum, it's an appropriately-priced crack-free dash - with a car included for free.

I think it was short wheelbase only, so 740i, 730, 728, and at least one of the diesel options, but there were at least some MT E38s outside of the US.

I’m selling my 1990 325is This vehicles been in the family since brand new I’ve had it for the last seven years it was my uncles before that, Everything on this car works like brand new he AC the tires are brand new every service record is up-to-date I have service wreckers done from the early 90s from 91 all the way to now till 2022 this car is been nothing but amazing to me I only put a couple thousand miles in the last seven years between me and my uncle we ckept this car practically brand new drives better than people’s brand new cars I have the original window sticker I have the original paperwork from day one I have every service record from the last two decades everything has been serviced everything has been up-to-date this car drives amazing there’s possibly nothing wrong with this car only has 136,000 miles I still drive it from time to time I’m a big car enthusiast this car is always been garage kept since day one.
Goddamnit man, if this thing was auto I would have jumped on it (I’m not good at working the clutch on a manual, but most of the manual BMWs I’ve driven were 4 cylinders so maybe the lack of torque had something to do with it). This car is only 50 miles from me.

I've always hated the "long description".... and I'm not dead set on selling it yet, so I'll keep it short and sweet:

I'm checking on the interest level out there for my 1987 E30.

    The Good:
It runs, everything is largely intact and the body is straight.
Lots of extra parts for the work I haven't done, but someone will likely want to (including new metal for the jack point repair, new front and rear windshield seals and more).
It has the desirable front valance.
    Fully adjustable original sport seats.

    The Bad:
    The dash is cracked
The radio doesn't work (wiring needs to be sorted out)
The blower motor needs to be replaced (I have the part)

Whoever buys it will likely want to at the very least have it painted back to original (Zinnoberrot). Somebody did some questionable painting on this car.
It's a great candidate for a swap... or keep original.

could drift like crazy with the right driver.

Hit me up on email, and then we can switch to text if you want more info or pictures.

    _Jeff

Most cryptos were created specifically for speculation, of course they're more speculative than cars let's compare nuclear reactors and yard sprinklers next because they're both embedded in the ground and have water flowing through them.
