Impressive, in ten years I am at seven.

Not sure on the price, but I have doubts about being able to build it yourself for much less than the asking. In my mind, a non-M3 E30 really doesn't get much better than this. Mic drop.

Yes, you read that correctly. E30 Touring with a S54 & 6MT from a E46 M3. This is a very rare chance to own such a beautifully executed project. No expense spared and no shortcuts taken. Built by a local enthusiast. Get in and enjoy.

The silver paint is in great condition. No rust, rot, fading. All panels are straight and look excellent. A/C blows cold & heat blows hot. Everything works as it should and this car does not possess the typical negative qualities of a swapped car. No warning lights, everything looks untouched and it would be very easy to convince someone unfamiliar with the platform that the car came this way from the factory.

Too bad when it sells we won't get an alert on the final sale price.

This Touring is sure making the internet rounds.

                R3V
                BAT
                eBay

And now Jalopnik picked it up for NP or CP.

It's currently a strong "crack pipe" due to the high price of admission.

That's a pretty high price, admittedly. But when you consider the going price of E30 M3's, this, to me, has a way higher fun-to-dollar factor.
                  - It's the ultimate sleeper.
                  - People at cars & coffee will lose their shit when they see this.
                  - You can do burnouts for days
                  - It'll still haul the family of 4, plus the dog and luggage on road trips.
                  - I'm sure it sounds great too.

Only bad thing, is that, like most new cars, it makes no financial sense. It's not going to GAIN in value like an M3. Ooh but it would be so much fun to own though :D

You make a strong case here for someone that isn't a wagon guy like me.

                      Nice Price or Crack Pipe?

                      $35,000 swapped Touring.....

Today’s Nice Price or Crack Pipe E30 isn’t just an amazingly desirable ride owing to its E46 M3 drivetrain, it’s also a learning opportunity since its manual windows will let you demonstrate to kids what it means to “wind them up.” Could that two-fer be worth its new car price?

                      Comment

That's a really nice looks car, seems to be done right. However, if I wanted something with an S54 in it and had $35,000 I'd probably just buy a clean E46 M3. I'd rather have a V8 in the wagon anyway potstir

Good point on the clean e46 m3. And a chevy small block 350 in the touring would be wicked.

Too much weight, gotta be aluminum block if chevy or 302 windsor if ford.

Throw it up on bat and let the bidders decide.
