I'd say the importing procedure. It seems like a rather complicated ordeal for a 21-year-old to undertake right now.Originally posted by golde30ken,
what exactly is the issue now? the price? or the importing procedure? have you gotten a price from UPS to take care of all that stuff for us? i read the previous posts but i dont really get what the MAIN problem is. a good frend of mine had a full body kit and auto tranny shipped from the UK recently, so i could use him as a resource on the procedure. oh yeah, but he got it shipped to the port of Los Angeles....i will talk to him next chance i get and see how he went about getting his items shipped. thanks

BTW: i am a full time student in college, and i work 40+ hours a week on top of that...so i mite be a little laggy on results...
If you could talk to your friend and find out what he did that would be awesome! If you do, please email me at kennethhc@hotmail.com and let me know all of the details! That would help a TON.Originally posted by Grueliusand i do not know what bugg brakes are.Comment

OK,
Just thought I'd update every one. Jon is going to weigh pallet tomorrow, and then I should have enough information to get a quote from FedEx and UPS. Even though it might be more expensive to ship, I think it will save a lot of headaches and uncertainty in the end. What do you guys think?

sounds alright.. for those of us thinking about picking the stuff up, where would we do that? your house, the port?Comment

For those of you coming from the North, the port would probably be the best idea. I'd rather not drag all of the stuff to my house, LOL. It might be the maritime port, or the airport. I'll know soon after I get quotes for the shipment of it. Even if it is $600 for the pallet shipping, it would only add ~$20 to everybody's order (still cheap for a shipment from half way around the world).Originally posted by nandosounds alright.. for those of us thinking about picking the stuff up, where would we do that? your house, the port?Originally posted by Grueliusand i do not know what bugg brakes are.Comment

how many people were planning on going down there?
you'd have to drag them to the UPS/Fedex office anyway. ;)Comment

So far, I think it's just you, Craig, and James that are coming down. I believe that FedEx and UPS have some sort of office at the Portland Airport.Originally posted by nandohow many people were planning on going down there?

I have nothing to do with the parts. Contact Jon via email. Although I'm almost certain the pallet is full.Originally posted by Spoon e30if you are shipping any euro grilles, PM me with pricingOriginally posted by Grueliusand i do not know what bugg brakes are.Comment

That's what my plan was. Just pick it up for you and then ship it out however you prefer.Originally posted by bimmer8604sorry i cant drive from KS to OR to pick up my stuff...oh well.
