I would love to swap a lightly built k20 into my car. Imagine how an all aluminum 4 banger with more power than an s5x would work in an e30. Plus they're cheap and durable.

I forgot every e30 needed to be the same.

K series can make stupid power with boost. Plus the weight of it will be more towards the back since it's a 4 cylinder and it's probably lighter than any 24v 6 cylinder.
