What does "buzzy" in reference to M42/S14's mean? I never felt that my M42 has anything "buzzy" about it

buzzy meaning more vibration/NVH. And the M42 does have plenty of that. It makes my old M10 feel like a Lexus engine, lol. I personally like how the M42 kind of sounds like a Subaru. Could be because my DD is a WRX though....Stage rally/rallycross e30 build/competition journal

Ah, isn't that because of the natural balance of a straight-6er though?
I can't attest to the buzziness, as I have to fix my drony ass exhaust to actually feel engine nvh :/Originally posted by TSI♫ Rust flecks are falling on my head...♫OEM+Comment

they could spend less time and money and buy e36 m3 and get way more car.
the e30 platform is a shitty, unsophisticated, seriously out-dated deathtrap.

I love my M42...it may be slow, but it has some kick for a 20+ year old 4cyl. That and I've never owned a car that could get to 200k+ and still be reliable. This engine is a champ...no leaks, no smoke doesn't burn oil and starts and drives every time.1991 318is - Daily/weekend track car.
