Get questions/compliments at gas station or people driving by giving me thumbs up...... especially motorcycle riders..........and the wife still after 9 years doesn't understand why they do that. lolYour signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.

I do.. even at night:
/brag
But all of that goes out of the window with shit like: 'is this a __COMPLETELY__WRONG__CAR__OR__MODEL__??' or 'How fast is it?!?!' or 'How much would you sell this for'.
Last time I got the 'how much' question I just told the guy to stop asking me stupid questions and made a phone call. I should probably do the 'more than you can afford pal' line.

I get compliments all of the time, but each car draws them from different types of people. My E30 M3 mostly gets compliments from car guys that specifically know about it. It's rare that women compliment it. My 325i gets an occasional thumbs up or "nice car" from other dudes. For some reason my bone stock 325ix gets the most attention, especially from women. Women in front of me in the drive thru have paid for my order 7 times just in the last year and 4 those were in the 325ix while 3 were in my 996. Even the girls working at the drive thrus have given me free stuff because they said they like my car. They'll often say that my 2002 is "cute", which I'm not so sure is a compliment as a guy.

I do get compliments from time to time, but mostly from older folk who have owned e30´s in the past
Most of the comments i get on my 318is are from the hayseeds..."Hey man is that an M3"
After getting that about a dozen times i stopped explaining and started saying "yes sir, it is"
The most enjoyable comments come from those who pretend to have money and enjoy making contemptible comments, e.g. gypsy car, poor, doesn´t have enough to buy a new BMW, etc.
It used to bother me, now i have fun with them. I just tell them i only make 600 a month scrubbing toilets and it´s all i can afford being poor, but at least my home is paid off, i have no debt and i pay no road tax :)
The first group can be forgiven for being ignorant, the second...well, human nature at its finest. My new E34 525i Sport Limousine Blog

Most of the time I just get thumbs up. Had a guy in a lowered civic si give me one (guess Hondas guys like e30's lol) and actually the other day a younger guy in an e92 m3 pulled next to me and gave me a thumbs up.
A few weeks ago at the parking lot of a store I was in my car about to leave when a guy in nice triumph tr6 pulls up next to me and compliments my car and that he used to have one and loved it. Some of my coworkers also think I have the coolest car there lol
I don't really mind the attention only because I know that it'll happen because we have cars you don't always see often and 90% of people dont know what it is'84 Alpine 325e (Gone)
