Pics are going to help too. Original miles on the motor or is it rebuilt?

Did you build the car yourself? Being able to talk to the seller about the work you did will seriously help selling a car. A swap done an indefinite time ago by some previous owner always sounds a bit hit or miss.

Not a fan of the green, but the engine looks great.

i never have been a fan of the m tech 2 stuff. records will help. especially considering there were less than 2000 s38b36's sold in north america.

                  -5 lug swap/ gc coils
                  -m tech 2
                  -s38b36
                  -bbs rs
                  -60k miles on engine
-40k miles on body, repainted, no rust
                  -hows the interior? sport? torn?

thats a pretty good combination. You could probably get between 10-20k USD for it. Take a look at this car. It obviously has the most desirable s38 engine and e28 m5 parts but its a good comparison.

Hagerty has this car listed under BMW E28 M5s, but its origin as a 525is and ensuing plethora of modifications make it a difficult car

No one makes this car anymore. The government won't allow them, normal people won't buy them. So it's up to us: the freaks, the weirdos, the informed. To buy them, to appreciate them, and most importantly, to drive them.

Not worth much, you ruined the value by swapping it. I'll do you a favor and take it off your hands for $1,000 US.
