Makes sense. These are so hard to find clean examples of. Would love to have one for daily duty.

The Infiniti G20t also came with n/a SR20 and available LSD, nice interiors for the period and great seats. Used to really want one for a daily.

      Cool pic but fucking huge:

            This is my guilty pleasure....

Where I work we have one of these (2006 Outback XT) in the fleet. This is my go to car for any work-related road trips. In case you're wondering, my other options are: Mazda 5, Mazda MPV, and a Toyota Highlander hybrid. The Subie is the sportiest of the fleet....and a very comfy road trip car. The wagon is really practical and the AWD system sets the bar which others are measured. My only gripe is the gearbox is an auto. 5-speed manuals are out there, but harder to find.

              I can't think of a single car that I SHOULDN'T like, but I do.

I do like a lot of cars, but I have reasons for all of them.

I agree. An Outback XT 5MT would be an awesome car. Which is why it wouldn't fall in to the "shouldn't like" category :)

                  This, a daily driver.

I don't have to worry about anything more than the traffic around me. No stress, no worrying and fairly cheap to maintain. The 2.4L in it has enough power for easy merging. I can shove so much stuff into the back, they fold flat and even the front passenger seat folds down. I don't have to worry about scuffing the interior or exterior when loading/unloading large/heavy objects.

However it's soulless, uninspiring and blends in. The pleasure I get out of it is being stress and worry free. I can park wherever I find the closest spot but sadly I won't remember where I park it nor look back at it.

I like BP's quite a bit, there are just never any decent ones around, and I'd have to tinker with it a lot to make the car I want.

I also like the BH, and since they're 15 years old, I could import a GT-B and have most of what I want, I just don't care for the body style as much.

While it's not a car, I really think the Honda K-series engines are the shit... modded at least. High compression 2.6L all aluminum 4banger screaming to more than 9k with a big dirty cam making 300+hp for half the price it would take to build an equivalent BMW engine? sure. I just need to wait for one of the honda kids at work to wrap their car around a tree.

I want to put a k series in my Miata. Not wanting to go boost, while keeping the cars balance... K series seems to be the way to go.

                            Why not 2.3 Duratec/MZR?

crappy picture but I do really enjoy my 1.0L 3 cylinder turbo fiesta.

the engine just sounds so good and has plenty of power for a fuel efficient dd.

And just to add the engine is built in germany.
