No, that's not true. Unless your car is EAG "acceptable" it's still worth what it was before.

If that sort of thing were true someone would just sell a loaf of Wonderbread for $90, and then every single bread on the shelf would experience an instant increase in price, which doesn't happen. More often, the smart money does not buy the $90 bread, but still ends up with a quality product, and $90 Bread Co. goes out of business or brings prices in to line with market expectations.

At my school we have a 13,000 mile 318is but the m42 has a cracked block or something and it's been out of the car.

But with only 13,000 miles EAG would be like $39,000 haha

I'm in the wrong business. Need to find some relatively clean stock cars, detail them up and sell them for 4x as much as "all original Concours quality collectibles"
