I do. I hate em. Looks terrible. E30 needs some contrast unless you do an Mtech 2 kit. And even then I'm not a huge fan of it on white/red cars because you can always see a paint shade difference between the metal body work and the plastic kit.

It would look much cleaner if they were to bolt up the air dam to the bumper, rid it of that gap.
Agreed, but it would look better with black mouldings. Like this:

Yep it is crazy. It's 2018 and I'm fully restoring my bronzit. Would I have done this if it wasn't an 'is'? Probably not.

Plus I wanted to save this car. I know bronzit gets a lot of hate, but I like the color.

At the end of the day it's still an E30.

Bronzit when taken care of looks stellar. I’ve seen amazing examples.

Problem is, when its neglected it gets bad looking, fast! Really shows the clearcoat failure when it begins to separate.

The same can be said of the tan interior. Everything fades or degraded at different rates, and tan seems to look worse when they get off color more so than other common colors.

i like the wheels! There was a M3 up a few weeks ago with the same wheels and i find myself thinking if these would look great on my e30 too.

That exhaust system is a bit of a mess, no dyno though so we don't know how much power it is costing. It almost looks like whoever designed that exhaust system designed the cage too, those door bars are bizarre, and as one commenter pointed out it should probably fail tech.

The seller (Alex McCulloch) posted that he would be losing money at $20k. Wow! I know he is meticulous with the cars he sells, but I just don't see the market for a close-to-but-not-perfect ix Touring without A/C being much more than $20k. Maybe I'm out of touch with the market.

                    but:
[the cage]was designed with NASA spec e30 guidelines in mind

does anyone know who i have to ask at NASA to get the e30 guidelines?

The rulebook is published, but I can tell you from seeing spec E30 cars that the cages don't look like that.

Just in case you didn't notice, that car's being sold out of Vancouver BC where it was likely a factory mt2 car.

It's not and I'm guessing he either a) got in over his head with import costs or b) is lying.
