I saw this car and wondered why it had such a high sale price in its pretty poor overall condition, needs paint, has ugly wheels, stupid ass screw on spoiler, body damage on the front end, shredded headliner, etc. I had missed that it was a slicktop.

That's a joke right? There's no way a slick top makes up for an otherwise cosmetic basket case. Seems like it was mechanically sound though.

I dont think the price was that far out of line... probably more of a 8-10k car, but throw it on BaT and weird things happen. Good sale and most of the 'issues' can be corrected fairly easily other than paint
A clean 318IS sells for a lot more
