Cant blame him for trying to get the most money for it, but here we have rules about posting links to CL and Bat/ ebay auctions, so it will keep getting black-holed. Its happened to others, he isnt special.

and I support that. I avoided BaT as much as possible when I was selling the Aluminum Monster because I knew it didnt fit their ''model" and I wanted to ensure that it would find a good home and I could get parts back if they were changed out. That has happened and soon I will have a bunch of parts bought back

truth re 320is being the boy m3.
but:
-- 318is light, highly tossable and cheaper. miss mine tbh.
-- cmon on m10. m42 turbo or DASC with ITBs ftw.

EDIT: just agreeing with djjerme re M10+shortened M88 head = S14. but you're not going to convert an M10 to an S14 are you.

take an M10 and lob the last 2 combustion chambers off a M88 head - bam S14.. That's what I am meaning. And to be fair, any of the early chassis would usually be a measurable amount lighter than 318is - But the difference in weight between an early chassis vs a late is well documented in other places.

But really, it just comes down to people wanting to try and bring the 318is legend up to M3 status.

I'll be honest, I had never heard it used prior to BAT auctions usage (and maybe 5toes.)
