Thats way cooler than all the E46M3 Tourings being built.
I bought an E46 Sport Touring with 1/2 a mind to do the conversion, but that E30 Touring would be waaaaaay cooler.

I was asking. This 91 calypso cabrio has metal bumpers and the other 91 white cabrio on BAT has plastic bumpers. I thought all E30s had plastic bumpers by 91.

I know that 88-90 verts all had small taillights and metal bumpers. Thought it was 91 when they switched over to plastics and the bigger taillights, so one might be an earlier production and the other a later. I dont think they ever made the 318i convertible with the earlier stuff, so that might be a telltale.

I thought it was already answered in the comments on that car, it’s a late 90 build. So while technically a 91 sales year car, it was built before the change over.

10/90 was the transition to plastic bumpers / small taillights for the verts. Fun fact the sheet metal in the top boot area is pre-punched for the top motor on 7/90 DB verts like mine, possibly earlier ones too. The 9/90 DB vert on B@T has them too. Factory needed it for 92 MY as the 318i convertible retained manual top
