I didn’t, I would’ve been in it 11k or so, with the BAT fees and I would have to fly out there, plus the gas back.

Seems like I’m going to take a hiatus from the e30 scene, I’ll regret when these things are 15k in a couple years, but I need to focus on my current and future life, no matter how much I love these damn things lol.

Bummer. I hate to hear that but I totally get it. I jumped on the bandwagon as fast as I could as I knew this would eventually happen.

          Good luck on the search!

              Yeah

Even some of the E36s are commanding more money than new (sold for $58k):

Bid for the chance to own a Canadian-Market 1994 BMW M3 Coupe 5-Speed at auction with Bring a Trailer, the home of the best vintage and classic cars online. Lot #17,834.

Didn't even have a winter package!

The right bidders were obviously present in the auction.

Wait. E36 M3s don’t go for that much now, do they?

Well,,, that was pretty special E36 (if there is such a thing). Way cooler than a "Lightweight" and never has a car been so appropriately named...

The other 8 million E36M3s that they made,,, not so much.
But watch out, every other common place E36 owner out there will now think his car is worth at least $40K

Paintwork and all, that 318iS was a nice car. I'd love to own that.
A quick trip to a body shop and blammo, great car.
That was a well preserved specimen. I hope the next owner does it right.

Nope, that's a 2,400 Mile Canadian E36 M3 with a real S50B30. Someone obviously thought it was worth the coin.

I spoke too soon. Very nice E36 with the euro engine. I wouldn’t kick her out of my garage.

Ohhhh Molson! I have some vivid memories of drinking Molson Ice, eating beer cheese soup and one of the finest steaks I've ever had at a restaurant near the airport there. Ahhhh...memories!

with the exception of the dorky wheels (and thank god the stockers come with it) thats a pretty nice time capsule of a car. Well cared for survivor. BAT nerds will eat that kind of shit up. That car is their wet dream.
