Man I am crushed for Jordan by the result on his car. That auction was so weird, there were zero bids for 4 days and then just one final bid. It feels like he got screwed on the timing of the auction.

All the potential times for an auction and he gets arguably the worst slot possible. I took photos for a guy's ad of his Landrover Defender and BaT took about 3 months before listing it once they got all the information. Their server crashed on the final day so no bidding could happen, and then they randomly reloaded the auction for a 2 day shootout without any real notice. Suffice to say, it didn't meet the reserve.

No problem. I actually keep Alpinas separate but there was only one this last year and it didnt sell.

The Others included a Baur, a M3 Sport EVO, a few racecars and stuff thats rare enough that it doesnt warrant its own list.

I didn't see this go down, but briefly skimmed the comments.

I guess it's a gamble listing when BaT dictates the reserve price, but the auction being at likely the worst time of year definitely would play a massive part too.
I don't know how auction timing works, but it sounds like it's another shaft by BaT.

Also I didn't realize it was a salvage car, and it strikes me as odd to use that specific car for a full restoration, but then again, it's a 318is so yeah
