    I'm speechless....

...but luckily that doesn't stop me from typing.

I was having one of those "what if I bought [insert car here]" moments about the 318iS and hit Craigslist. I knew prices had risen since I bought my E30, but there were cars with big pieces actually missing, motor damage, rust, body damage, tons of miles....and nothing was less than $3k! I couldn't believe it. I was idly thinking it would be fun to get a decent runner as a "try the inline 4" kinda deal, but holy crap. Cars in condition similar to my current E30 were over five figures!

    That is all.

Craigslist is the worst place now and days to buy e30s. I've honestly found the best deals on FaceBook.

Edit: Actually the best deals I've found have been through word of mouth

On the subject, if any of you have ever seriously considered buying an E28 now would be a good time to do so while they're still very affordable.

Nabro, I had the good M10 in a 2002. I can't deal with the sad shell of one the E30 got.

...Although I could always swap it for an M30 and get some extra power by polishing the faces of the pistons up real nice...

There are a bunch of 325e piles for sale where I'm at. All of them wanting over 4k. There are actually two or three ix coupes wanting around 8-9k. No clue why prices are so steep in Colorado.

EDIT: Also somebody selling a rattlecan plastidipped convertible for $5500. This is getting ridiculous.

Around 200k, needs a starter I think and a muffler, was Mom's daily driver until a couple months ago when she got an '06 Legacy GT. I need to get some pics together and make a FS ad, just been slipping my mind with everything going on in the shop. Nice little car. I was thinking $2500 but I haven't looked at that market yet.

There are no interesting cars left to buy for cheap :( It hurts me inside.
