I am at a crossroads.

Who wants to buy my E30 (just needs rad fan installed, PS if you desire)..?

I am desiring a more turn-key car. I have a large family of small ones. The small projects are getting to me... just picked up from exhaust shop (all new from headers down), needs to refinish ACS 16" wheels, mount genuine ACS kit (needs sprayed, currently black).

Some debt is piling up, want to tackle it... been fawning over an older AMG of some sort to satisfy the more ready to cruise powerhouse. I wish my Dinan 5 was still here...

I have piles of ACS parts. It was/is to be an ACS S3.5 ... if ACS had done what the others were doing.. an M30 swap.

Only you truly know your situation. Hang on to it and if you can, put it on the back burner until you get situated. If it's a dire situation, then do what you have to do. I once sold an original owner 88 325iS (I had just spent $1k on a new head/timing belt job) to get into something cheaper, something I always wanted...Honda CRX B16 swap. It's faster, smaller and better on gas too. I pocketed $1k between the two cars which helped since I was working part time. Since I was in college at the time and already had an M3, I felt it was the right move. When my eldest daughter was born I bought an E39 528i as my "grown up" car. I initially looked at a supercharged E36 M3 4 door and E46 M3 but decided on an E39 528i which has been very reliable. Sometimes you have to make compromises and do what's best for the family.

I have the family haulers. This is a toy.... and I suppose why I can so easily consider selling it. About 15 miles in last two years now that I visited the exhaust shop.

Even if replaced w/ an AMG flavor or, if I can find it again, the local '88 M6.... plenty of other cars.

Rent out a storage garage in in the area for 6 months. Coming back to it fresh is easier then being frustrated about quitting a project. Take a break enjoy the DC mild winter with family.
