I didn't really make the correlation until just recently and it was really hard to when they were on the same team. Alonso's antics overshadowed anything Hamilton could have done, now with Alonso on a different team and not in the spot light we just have Hamilton being Hamilton. Also, did anyone see him congratulate Piquet? Massa was patting him on the back and everything and Hamilton doesn't even look at him.

Well that seals the deal then. Definitely not going to switch if I have buy the box and sign a contract. Those boxes, namely the hard drives in them, fail way too often for me to have to buy it.
Cable HD/DVR box fails, take it down and pick up a new one, doesn't cost a dime.Need parts now? Need them cheap? steve@blunttech.com

No problem. Am I the only one surprised by Lewis' comment about Heikki?
What a fucking prick.Originally posted by Lewis HamiltonI have to say a big thank you to Heikki, he was a great team-mate. He didn’t put up a huge fight and saw that I was quicker and enabled me to get past quicker. And so a big thank you to him. I was able to pull it off. I had good tyres. I guess it was exciting for him and it was exciting for me.- Trey

Well the fact that Ron Dennis was on the radio the exact moment that happened leads me to believe he was telling Heikki to GTFO of the way for Lewis. What is Heikki supposed to do? They keep saying sportsmanship is what led that to happen, but I guarantee it was team orders.Comment

I noticed that too. Looks like team orders are alive & well in F1.

Anyone surprised how testing has been going in Jerez this week? My boy Vettel ran at the top for the first 2 days and Weber on day 3 and Bourdais was 2nd on day 4 just behind Heikki. Seems like Redbull is stepping it up for Hungary and 2009. I would love to see Weber or Vettel snag a podium.Comment

By the tone of a few of your guys posts, do you think team orders don't belong in F1? For whatever reason I don't see a problem with it.
Fuck yes! Red Bull will be my fav team next with DC's old ass out of the seat and Vettel in!Anyone surprised how testing has been going in Jerez this week? I don't have an issue with team orders in F1. Bernie and Max have gone on record in the past saying it won't be allowed, but it looks like this isn't a closely monitored rule. Could've been nothing more than some spin for the press to keep things interesting between races.
As for Red Bull ramping up their performance - they have demonstrated gains this season. Webber is becoming a regular top 10 finisher, usually ahead of his teammate DC. I don't get too hyped up over test day results - sure its a chance to let the teams try new bits on the car or iron out exisiting bugs. To me, F1 is like a really high stakes poker game....and everyone keeps their 'power cards' close to their chest until race day.

I'm a fan of drivers competing against one another as much as they possibly can, the idea of some douche in the pits saying "Hey, number 2, you mind letting off a bit so we can all cheer for my unbiological son? kthxbye."- Trey

I agree with that, especially with Ferrari as they always seem to keep their performance hidden until qualifications. But the teams in the midfield seem to do a lot less of that as they are just trying to get the best setup and most accurate feedback so I think while you can't say "Toro Rosso did better than Ferrari!" on a test day, you can compare say Red Bull and Toro Rosso to Renault and Toyota. Only thing that throws a wrench into comparing times now is whether they are running this year's setup or next year's setup, but F1.com does a pretty good job of keeping track of that.Comment
