          thanks for the likes

Hood vents need to stay, unless I have a total revamp of the pipe work as it forms part of the intake. Would like to have a revamp was thinking of one of G&T manifolds but not sure of gains over what I have got and don't know if I would have any clearance issues. But guess it would be new turbo time so not sure what I would go for and then I also need a front mount as currently it is running side mount behind the headlights which is far from ideal hardly any air flow and heat soak. The car runs an ALpina radiator that partly sits in the front aperture so will also need a new radiator. So then new engine mounts but it is already running Alpina mounts for the factory M30 engine but clearance on the steering rack looks tight as the sump is also an ALpina item. Would love to do it though.

Ps hood is made out of kevlar

Had to repair the ribbon between the two halves of the ecu. It had a ribbon that had delaminated and was soldered directly to the PCB's. So got 2.54mm pitch 32 way female sockets soldered these to the boards then used jumper wires instead of the fragile ribbon

Also extended the chip to the the outside of the ecu on a zif socket so I can alter the map without having to remove the ecu and separate the two halves of the ECU.

            Intake.

This is a flipped airbox that draws air through the hood vent.

Was thinking of going megasquirt on this. Have someone in the states at the moment who could bring the bits back. Currently have low z injectors which are grouped into 2 banks running mechanical idle bypass that works via conducted heat with a 12 volt heater as well so no idle control needed. Also it is still is running a coil and ign amp towards the standard spark distribution and rotor at the front of the engine. Would love to have full data logging rather than the method of tune I have at the moment. Can post up my current ign tables and fuel tables as well to try and interpolate current settings including my cold enrichment etc. Anyone on here using megasquirt and able to assist. Have full wiring diagram for the zytek so no issues with ID. of wires. I have coolant based offsets, as well as air intake compensationwhere I can pull timing.

attached is an old spark and fuel table red area has been corrected so don't worry about that and I. only go to load site 12 18psi but am running 3 bar map but boost is wound down.

I guy named Nick Hill,, had one of those,, same color and turbocharged.. some expensive Cosworth mods etc etc ,this Nick Hill was well known in the BMW community 15 years ago,,

i still remember the figures he had ,, 450 ponies and 520 lbs/ft of torque still today very very impressive

                      he was also running ZYTEK

and i think ALPINA B6 3.5 is similair in performance,, but the price is another league,, unbeliveble expensive these B6

                            Hell Scoobydo.

I see the Alpina oil pan on your 333i will not allow you to sit in position 2. If it was me I would look for to buy Alpina steel mounts for position 2 and e32 or e34 oil pan. That will allow you to install a e28 radiator. Then you can run a front mount.

                              Try also

i bought the S38 enginemounts ((the same as M30)) and you have 2 options to locate the engine in the enginebay

the cost is 200€ i think.. and i think you can drill 1 extra hole to even push the engine more back
