nothing really too exciting to update,

but ive been daily driving this for a month now and so far everything has been running smooth, with a small hickup from the fuel pump and FP relay. replaced both of them and its back on the road.

purchased a good condition Thule roof rack from ebay and some Euro Grilles.

heres how she sits now. my hood alignment is way off, but i cant figure out how to fix it and have it shut properly.

Good work going on in here. Ive never seen one on a E30 but is a California top possible? I think one like this would be pretty cool.

                  thanks

never even heard of that before. looks kinda funky to me.

ill probably just end up buying a delete plate from bimmerworld or wherever else i can find one, expensive but the easiest option for me.

Are you running gc coils without camber plates? How low are you and do you rub? spring rates? sorry for all the questions camber plates are last thing i need and if i can get by with out them for a while I will. Car looks great though

questions are no problem, haha and thanks!

GC coils, Koni yellows in the front and bilsteins in the rear.
bought used/new(not a scratch on them) from a member here. No camber plates. the last thing on my list too.

i was told the spring rates are 375 front and 475 rear. which sounds stupid soft. but they are actually very stiff and maybe was a typo on the P.Os part.

the ride is almost too stiff for me, im considering selling them and throwing H&R race springs on.

im all the way slammed on the coils in the front, on un-shortened housings. never bottomed out yet, although i rarely drive the car on bad roads. and have never rubbed.

and about three threads up in the rear on the adjuster.

If you think those spring rates are too stiff, you're not gonna like the H&R Race.

i have some H&R springs in my pile of parts, they must be sports then.

but ill probably just end up keeping the GC's on because it doesn't bother me enough.

Get konis in the rear, i bet your ride quality improves. Those rates are pretty mild.

thats the plan eventually, money is tight and was needed on engine reliability > suspension. soon i hope

Hmm interesting I got Koni sport adjustable in all four corners with Gc coils 450/650 I wonder how it will ride. Then again I'm m30 swapped so I need a little bit stiffer ride.
