Finally sold it, got $2500 monies. The guy loaded it on a dolly and promptly ripped off the front bumper which is known for being way too low.

I installed a convertible dome light in the warning light panel!
Chopped the side off and dome light fits right in. There's a little gap that I'll fill with a tab of abs or something.
I'll test it when the sun goes down.
I also bought some LEDs and housings for a tiny bit of red accent lighting. They'll be mounted left and right of the crank or something. Or maybe I'll mount them in the panel so I'm not drilling holes in harder to fix stuff.

Wired, installed and working.
It makes such a HUGE difference, I highly recommend adding a dome light. It's wired in parallel with the door lights, so it has Door-Off-On settings. I wouldn't use it while driving, it's aimed right at your face. Maybe I'll make a visor for it.
Off
On
I also wired the LEDs, and they're pretty awesome, but I haven't mounted them yet. I need a way to aim them better. The light output is pretty good. They're 25° spread and 8-12k mcd. Right now they're always on, I'll probably add a dimmer switch and a few more LEDs, if I can aim them that would be the best! Maybe I'll run them off the headlight dimmer, but I don't want to run that wire, sounds annoying!

Installed my subwoofer today, sounds pretty good! It was about 250° outside, I was sweating gallons through my daisy duke cutoffs.
Punched out the rear battery cable hole right next to my front mounted battery and pulled 8awg through.
Falls right into the cabin. I pulled off the entire carpet piece behind the speaker and there was a channel to run the wire through.
No grommets so I just gaff taped the edge. I'll buy a real grommet before it rains.
Pulled up the door sill trim and putty knifed the rubber-ish stuff to expose the wire loom and ran all the wires through the factory clips. The glue was soft and sticky, probably from the heat, and the rubbery stuff broke really easily.
I know you shouldn't run audio signal next to power but my signal cable was too short to run on the other side. When I upgrade the rest of the speakers I'll run new signals down the left side.

Here's the transition to the seat.
And inside the trunk. Everything in his damn car is sticky and crumbly.
That's a 30A quick disconnect. I need to attach better quick disconnects to the amp remote turn on wire, spade connectors are annoying. I like it to all be easily removable.
I just took a hammer and a flathead and tapped on the little welds and they popped right out.
I also traced and cut out a hole in the card that covered the metal thingy. I didn't take out the seat back, I just measured from the mounting holes to the ski hole then put the removed piece on the cardboard at those measurements and traced that.

I took the amp off and mounted it on the other side so that it was hidden, and to get some airflow from the port for cooling. I had to drill a new hole for the speaker wire and seal up the old one with some hot glue. The amp is a Jensen power 400 and the sub is a vintage JL audio 10w4. The box is this funky bandpass that has the diver firing into ~1cu-ft and the rear into ~1.5cu-ft with a port as wide and deep as the box.
Still a decent amount of room in the trunk! I want to mount the sub so it doesn't slide around, any ideas?
When I get a ski passthrough I should be able to sneak a fishing pole past the sub. Here's a random pic of where I like to fish, just because.

Hrm, I'll try that! The bottom of the box is carpeted too so I was thinking put two hook sides of Velcro back to back and put that under the box. I was also thinking about using some small 2" angle brackets with hook Velcro on both sides and put a few around the bottom of the box.
It's not like I Tokyo drift or anything, but I drive a little hard, and the roads around here are pretty bumpy. Thanks
