The old one was so brittle it just fell apart. The new one has flexible tabs that will snap into place.

The side with tabs clip into the body, the flat side with the hole goes against the headliner and the dome light clips into it.

There was only two in stock at pelican parts when I got them so I got both just in case. Here's the number so you can order one, or if you can't find one I'll sell you this one at cost. I think it was around $15.

I tore apart the trunk and there was an inch of standing water under the jack side and about a half inch on the battery side. Trunk is empty now, and luckily no rust. I took out the tail lights to get a feel for what I need for gaskets. I could go to home depo and get rolls of foam rubber weather stripping or just order new gaskets online. My local BMW wanted $35 each for the gaskets. Fuuuuuu

Here's the reverse light on the left brimming with water.

So I've found some fuel line rubbing, could burst and burn my car down!

This is against the power steering reservoir.

This is the broken wire on the AC line. Can I remove this pressure sender without depressurizing the system?

you can remove the sensor not the sender.

Does the green thing just unscrew and there's a valve to hold the pressure?

okay i was wrong. I just deleted AC on my car, and double checked. It's 1 piece, which means you'll have to depressurize your system.

Replace to two worn fuel lines, rerouted them so they won't rub on the power steering reservoir and used a piece of the old line to make some kinda half assed grommet. I'll zip tie it later.

Haven't gotten around to messing with the AC. The trunk is still leaking and after drying it out yesterday it rained all night, yay!

Got everything installed. The new thermostat makes it run halfway between first line and middle, doesn't change the idle :(

Gaskets are gaskets I guess!? Nice and thick!

Washed out the tail lights. Stuck my finger in and wiggled it around and rubbed off all the dirt from the silver part. Clean on the left.

Tail lights are different, foam had tabs that don't go anywhere so I cut them off.

The middle section of the taillight is two layers with a gap in the middle that filled with water when I was washing them and it was hard to get out. There was a tiny gap between the front lens and rear housing and I had to hold the taillight up vertical and squeeze and release the rear to squirt the water from the middle section to the one next to it and then pour it out the light bulb hole.

The right "brake" light was flickering as I was coming down a steep hill. What does that mean?
